Kad sunce zađe, a nebo poprimi ljubičaste tonove, Grožnjan postaje pozornica za dva dana soula, funka i groovea. Purple Sunset donosi intimni glazbeni vikend posvećen ljubiteljima soula, neo-soula i R&B-a, uz koncerte uživo i pažljivo odabrane DJ listening sessions.

Nakon rasprodane Tvrđave sv. Mihovila u Šibeniku i koncerta Echoes of Prince, CMA tim nastavlja svoju purple priču i seli u Grožnjan.

21. i 22. kolovoza, CMA Promotions i Truba Bar predstavljaju Purple Sunset – A Boutique Soul & Listening Weekend.

Inspiriran Princeom i njegovom glazbenom ostavštinom, Purple Sunset povezuje zvuk Minneapolisa, suvremenu soul scenu Amsterdama i jedinstvenu atmosferu Grožnjana.

U Truba Jazz & Wine Baru i Truba Secret Gardenu očekuju vas soul, neo soul, R&B i funk, Mirza Soul Shadow live obje večeri te posebno odabrani DJ listening sessions.

Dio programa posvećen je i kratkom hommageu Princeu – umjetniku čiji groove, sloboda i glazbena vizija i dalje povezuju generacije.

As the sun sets and the sky turns purple, Grožnjan becomes the stage for two days of soul, funk and groove. Purple Sunset is an intimate boutique music weekend made for true lovers of soul, neo-soul and R&B with live concerts and laid-back DJ listening sessions.

LINE-UP:

Mirza Soul Shadow – a recognized name on the European neo-soul/R&B scene, known for his emotional power and a strong, distinctive artistic identity. He has shared the stage with musicians from Prince's inner circle, including Philip Lassiter (11× Grammy). Together with his Soul Shadows collective, he brings soul, neo-soul and R&B classics through the music of Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Prince and the other greats who shaped the sound we love. Two of their tracks have been featured on the prestigious US soul portal SoulTracks, and they've opened as support act for names like Gregory Porter, Mario Biondi and more.

Kitano Hernández Solano – a jazz pianist, composer and producer born in Guadalajara (Mexico), now based in Amsterdam. He has performed at venues like the Concertgebouw, Paradiso, Bimhuis and the Philharmonie de Paris, and shared the stage with names such as Chick Corea. His sound blends jazz, R&B, Latin and electronic music.

Samir Bashir – one half of the duo The Bashir Brothers and a resident of Amsterdam's Bourbon Street Club, bringing the energy of the city's nightlife scene through blues, funk and rock. He has performed alongside names like Adrian Belew (King Crimson, David Bowie), Blondie Chaplin (The Beach Boys) and Julius E. Green (The Platters).

Vince Cally – musician, songwriter, singer and producer.

G.O.C. – rapper, performer and MC of the Soul Shadows collective, bringing a hip-hop and neo-soul edge with raw, unfiltered energy to the stage.

Viktor – the DJ behind the listening sessions and the vibe that carries through to the very last beat.

The program takes place across two locations, the intimate setting of Truba Jazz & Wine Bar and the open-air Truba Secret Garden, on Grožnjan's most beautiful stages.
